Alma Media has acquired the entire share capital of KTI Property Information Ltd. The largest sellers include the Finnish Association of Building Owners and Construction Clients Rakli and the Finnish Real Estate Federation. KTI will become part of the Alma Marketplaces business segment on 1 November.
The acquisition opens up new opportunities for KTI and Alma Media to jointly develop a broad range of information and analytics services for the property market. Their combined expertise and resources will support, in particular, the development of data and technology, as well as the provision of comprehensive, up-to-date information and analytics to support property investment management, decision-making and property market analysis.
“KTI’s market databases and expertise, together with Alma Media’s technology and development capabilities, provide a strong foundation for joint development. The foundations of KTI’s operations remain strong, and we will continue to uphold our core values in this new setting: confidential client relationships, independence and deep property market expertise. We will continue to develop our services and promote transparency in the property market together with our clients and stakeholders,” says Hanna Kaleva, Managing director of KTI.
“KTI is a highly regarded player in the Finnish property sector. The acquisition is an excellent complement to Alma Real Estate’s existing services and strengthens our ability to serve property market players more broadly. We see significant opportunities to leverage data assets, analytics and new technologies for the benefit of our clients,” says Santtu Elsinen, EVP, Alma Marketplaces.
